​​Embarking on this project, it was important for me to tell beautiful and honest stories. To do that, I knew I had to first be honest with myself and be willing to dig deep into my soul, giving these characters true emotion that would connect with the reader. It put me in a very vulnerable position, but fairytale, one dimensional dialogue is not something I was willing to serve to you. As a reader myself, I demand to feel a part of the story. Have it pull me in. Readers of The Mulholland Diaries series (which includes book 2, The Hollywood Girl) have told me this is what these stories give them.
